Join us for a relaxed recovery barbecue at our accommodation at Taymouth Marina. Cure your hangover and soothe sore dancing feet in the hot tub, sauna, or—if you’re brave—a jump in Loch Tay.

Castle Menzies
Castle Menzies (pronounced “MING-iss”) is a sixteenth-century castle tucked in the heart of Perthshire. We instantly fell in love with its quirky charm and can’t wait to share it with you!
Because of its intimate location, Castle Menzies isn’t easily accessible via public transport. We recommend either arranging a taxi or joining us at our bus pick-up points in Kenmore or Aberfeldy, where we’ll be providing transport to and from the wedding.

Recommendations
Kenmore and Aberfeldy are the two most convenient towns to stay in. We’ve chosen Taymouth Marina in Kenmore as our home base, which we would highly recommend if you’re looking to make it a full weekend getaway. They have an on-site restaurant and bar, watersports, and (our favorite) the HotBox outdoor spa.
That said, there are several other hotels, Airbnbs, and lodges nearby if you want to venture out.

If you know us, you know we love good food. What better way to celebrate our wedding than a family feast with our nearest and dearest?
We’ve planned a sharing-style menu, so there’s no need to make a meal selection—simply help yourself to the full spread!
We do want to make sure everyone has plenty to enjoy, so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements or allergies when you RSVP.

Babes-in-arms under one year are welcome.
For older children, yes please! While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration.
All children and families are more than welcome to join us on Sunday for the lochside barbecue.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
If we’re blessed with clear skies, we’ll spend a good part of the day outside making the most of it. For those less familiar with the Scottish weather, even summer can be unpredictable! Plan for all seasons in a day.
DO YOU HAVE A REGISTRY?
Since Ryan is already tired of Kate finding treasures to fill the house, we do not have a traditional wedding registry. And he’s right—we already have the things we need to start our happy future!
Truly, the best gift you could bring is yourself to celebrate our wedding with us. If you’d like to give something else, may we suggest one of these options?
